Die erste POWER OF EXPRESSION am 25.05.2002 in der BA-Mensa war ein Hammer Erfolg und wurde von den rockenden Künstlern und den noch mehr abgehenden Gästen vollends angenommen. Schon zur ersten Band ,"NO COMPLIMENT" war der Saal mit gut 250 Leuten gefüllt und dieser Zulauf setzte sich bis 22.30 fort, als die Stimmung langsam auf den Höhepunkt kam und man sich zeitweiße schon freien Platz suchen musste, da die Mensa mal locker mit 550 Leuten besucht war. Hier noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Bands die den Saal einfach nur einheizten, auch "PEARL", "ATARY", sowie "PURPLE HORSE" schafften es die ohnehin schon gute Stimmung weiter zu schüren und sprichwörtlich Benzin ins Feuer zu schütten. Die ersten "stagediver" gab’s dann auch schon bei "ATARY" zu sehen, worüber sich Tobias und Sebastian ganz besonders freuten, da das die Erwartungen waren die sie an die Veranstaltung stellten. Um noch ein Wort über die Technik und die Dekorationen zu verlieren war uns da auch nicht zuviel versprochen wurden und nach der einhelligen Meinung aller Bands war eben diese vom allerfeinsten. Der Abend setzte sich mal eben noch bis 2.30 Uhr fort und die Stimmung wurde von den Bands "JUST", "CONSPIRACY" und "EASTERN EMPIRE" als Schlusslicht immer noch am Limit gehalten. Die ca. 250 Leute die bis zum ende durchhielten wurden auch noch gut von der Fitness der eben letzten überrascht und zu Höchstleistungen angepeitscht, soll heißen Stagediving stand weiter an der Tagesordnung und der letzte Schlagzeuger musste ebenso ran, wie der Sänger und etliche Gäste. Nun kann man nur hoffen das sich diese Veranstaltung zu einer ganzen Reihe entwickeln wird, genaue Aussagen gibt es da noch keine aber es ist sicher Interesse bei den Bautznern und den Veranstaltern da.

O-ton von Thomas: man das war wirklich eine sehr große Überraschung, so was gab es in Bautzen wirklich noch nicht, die Bands haben mich alle überzeugt und das Publikum ist richtig gut mitgegangen, habe ehrlich gesagt lange nicht mehr so gefeiert. Auch für die Optik war richtig viel geboten, sehr gute Idee mit diesen Diaprojektoren. im großen und ganzem kann ich nur sagen sollte es wieder eine "POWER OF EXPRESSION" geben bin ich 100% tig wieder dabei, und kann das auch nur jedem empfehlen der die Möglichkeit hat zu kommen.
